Researcher: Digital+ Mental Health Interventions

TheraHive is transforming mental health care through Digital+, an innovative approach that combines structured online learning with live, interactive group sessions. Rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), our programs make high-quality, skills-based mental health support more accessible, scalable, and effective.

We are seeking part-time researchers—ranging from graduate students supporting research programs to lead investigators spearheading new projects—to help study, validate, and advance Digital+ interventions. This is an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge digital mental health research, working alongside an entrepreneurial team dedicated to improving mental health outcomes.

The Role

As a Researcher at TheraHive, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and conduct studies evaluating the effectiveness of Digital+ mental health interventions
  • Analyze outcomes related to engagement, retention, and participant well-being
  • Collaborate with an innovative, mission-driven team at the forefront of mental health technology
  • Publish findings and contribute to the growing field of digital mental health research
  • Explore new methodologies for improving accessibility and effectiveness in online therapy

Funding & Commitment

This is a part-time research opportunity with both unpaid and grant-funded positions available:

  • Some roles may be unpaid and best suited for researchers looking to gain experience, conduct independent studies, or integrate this work into existing academic programs.
  • Other positions may be funded through grant acquisitions, and we welcome researchers who are interested in collaborating on grant proposals to secure funding.
